LOPJLB Research ("we," "us," or "our") operates lopjlb.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account data. When you sign up (via Clerk), we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo. We do not store passwords. authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Payment data. Web subscription billing is processed by Stripe. iOS In-App Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not store full card numbers. For web charges, Stripe may provide a tokenized reference, last four digits, and billing address for invoicing and support. Apple does not share your full payment card details with us for App Store purchases.

Usage data. We collect anonymized analytics through Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics (page views, referrer, device type, country). These services may set cookies or use similar technologies.

Automatically collected data. Server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and operating system for security and diagnostics. This data is retained for up to 90 days.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Platform.
  • To process subscriptions and send billing-related communications.
  • To send product updates and service announcements (you may opt out at any time).
  • To detect fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following categories of providers, only as needed to operate the Platform:

  • Authentication: Clerk (identity management)
  • Payments: Stripe (web billing); Apple (iOS In-App Purchases)
  • Hosting & CDN: Vercel
  • Analytics: Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies

The Platform uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies for aggregate usage metrics. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings; doing so will not affect core Platform functionality.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Request data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including TLS encryption, secure authentication via Clerk, and Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure. to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. International Transfers

The Platform is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Financial Data Disclaimer

Market data, fundamental metrics, analyst estimates, and scoring outputs displayed on the Platform are sourced from third-party providers and computed by automated algorithms. We do not independently verify the accuracy of underlying data. This information is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered investment advice.
